I started this blog in 2017, not sure what it was going to be about, but expected it would be a way of recording some of my travels, and sharing some of my reflections along the way. I’m never quite sure of what I am doing, so elements of it might still be a bit hit-and-mss!
I am a (mostly) retired mathematics teacher, still doing some work of various kinds, but also enjoying travelling, photography and experiencing different cultures as well as my own. I also enjoy writing, and expect that I will look back on the blog after my travels to recall the experiences. I hope that readers find it interesting as well; I will always be interested in feedback and especially interested in advice on how to improve the blog. My permanent home is in Perth, Western Australia. I’m still connected with Murdoch University in Perth.
The blog disappeared a bit for a while (mostly after a computer mishap in Switzerland) and then the Covid chaos descended. Somehow, other things got in the way, but I might try again for a while … we’ll see.
